Created in the comic strip, L'il Abner, Sadie Hawkins Day is a gender role-reversal. Women and girls take the bold initiative by inviting the man of their choice out on a date( almost unheard of before 1937) typically to a dance attended by other bachelors and their assertive dates. In our case, we'll let the women ask the men to dance or to sing the song of your choosing.
